“Do You Believe I Am Able To Do This?”
Matthew 9:27-34

When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they replied.
Read verse 27. What did the blind men ask for? Why did they ask for mercy? Why does each of us need mercy (Luke 18:13)? What does it mean that Jesus is the son of David (2Samuel 7:16; Ezekiel 37:24 Matthew 1:1)?
Read verses 28-31. What did Jesus ask the blind men? What was their answer? What did Jesus do and say next? What happen to the blind men then? What do these verses show about Jesus?
Read verses 32-32. What problem did this man have? What did Jesus do for him? What showed that the demon left him? What did the crowd say? But what did the Pharisees say? What would you say about what Jesus did?
