SPIRITUAL WARFARE AND DISCIPLESHIP I

  1.  Are there spiritual reality, the devil and the spiritual warfare? Have you experienced them? (Stay on this topic for a few minutes and discuss about them among yourselves.)
  1.  How can we perceive spiritual reality? (1Co 2:10-16; 2Ki 6:16,17)
  1.  What are some aspects of spiritual reality in Scripture? (Eph 1:20-21, 2:2; 2Co 12:2,4; Heb 1:14)

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Eph 6:12)

  1.  What place does spiritual warfare have in the lives of Christians? Should driving out demons be part of our Christian life today? (Stay on this topic and discuss them among yourselves for a few minutes.)
  1.  In what way is the church like an army under King Jesus? (Mt 28:18-20; Eph 3:10-11; Jn 1:12; Lk 9:1)
  1.  What weapons has he provided for us to use to wage spiritual warfare? (Eph 6:12-17; Mt 18:20-22; 2Co 10:3-6; Ro 13:14)
  1.  What is the primary goal of  helping people to be free from demonic affliction? (Isa 61:1-3) 
  1.  Why is it important to distinguish between the person afflicted and the demonic powers afflicting them ? (Mk 5:8-9, 19; 9:25) How can we engage in a ministry of inner healing and deliverance?  (Mt 11:28; Isa 53:5; Mt 6:14-15; Lk 10:17; Ac 16:18; Mk 9:29; Jas 5:16)
