The Emerging Leaders Cohort program was developed to provide HQ level education and discipleship for key emerging leaders of UBF chapters in North America and around the world. It provides a platform where key leaders meet with senior staff/leaders to build up relationships, learn and grow in God’s word, and embrace God’s vision for the future of UBF. ELC is a supportive and enhancing program for the UBF chapters’ disciple-raising ministries.
Vision:
Christian leaders for the emerging generation
Purpose:
To equip emerging ministry leaders to be effective disciples and disciple-makers especially as campus ministers
- Personal spiritual growth as disciples: biblical and doctrinal foundation, personal relationship with God
- Christian leadership: Christlike disciple-makers through healthy Christian practices
- Pastoral care: fostering compassion and wisdom to shepherd those in need
Target group:
Emerging ministry key leaders who are:
- disciples with a solid Bible study history and have the desire to serve Christ’s mission, especially campus ministry
- recommended by their chapter leader
Format
Cohort Size: 4-8 leaders per cohort
Prepared Bible study and reflection, book reading/discussion, practicum/field work, online and in-person meeting
When (2-year program)
One Saturday every 5 weeks

Completion of all session requirements
