I really thank God for establishing and blessing the beautiful wedding between brother Omar of Mexico and sister Jeanne of Brazil.

M. Elijah of Brazil UBF had begun to earnestly pray for Jeanne’s marriage since she had become 30. Kyungsung UBF co-workers in Korea also joined in prayer for her, as well as M. Abraham in Mexico.

Brother Omar from Mexico has proven to be a sincere man of prayer over 4 years in UBF and a man with a fighting and humble spirit. He had tried hard to save his own family members from poverty. When he faced an emergency kidney problem which required surgery, with no money, he stayed up all night and struggled in prayer and was healed miraculously. Even when he was making a decision about this marriage, he did not look at her picture, but only by prayer asked for God’s will and accepted the marriage.

Both of them got married by faith and the wedding was full of God’s grace. James and Kyung-hee from Kyungsung UBF, Dr. Jose from Chicago, M. Timothy from Guadalajara, M. Elijah and Joy from Brazil, and all the missionaries from Mexico UBF attended and blessed this wedding.

In the sight of God, M. Abraham gave this new family the verse Romans 1:1, “…called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God,” with the great vision for them to grow as great servants of God and to feed numerous Brazilian students.

Prayer Topics for brother Omar to…

1). Finish his school studies in Mexico within 6 months and join the Brazilian ministry right after
2). Conquer the language in Brazil and be materially independent
3). Humbly co-work with M. Elijah’s family and struggle in prayer and with the words of God until convicted by God that he is God’s chosen for the sake of the gospel
4). Be a source of blessing for Brazil and Central/South America.
