(EUROPE) 2026 Europe Leaders' Conference & Inaugural Address of Hanna Shin

The 2026 Europe Leaders' conference was held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, from February 5-7, 2026. A few weeks prior to the retreat, all participants completed online group Bible studies and reflections to prepare their hearts for the work of the Holy Spirit.
On the first day, the European UBF Coordinator Inauguration Ceremony and a prayer of blessing were held. This was followed by an opening message from Croatian missionary, Joseph Bae, on the theme, "Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” (Genesis 15:5). There were also presentations from Croatia UBF and annual reports from Germany and France.
On the second day, Pastor Ron Ward gave a message on the theme, "Love One Another" (John 13). Annual reports from Portugal, the United Kingdom, Romania, Ukraine, and North Macedonia were presented. A European Mission Strategy Workshop was also held (speakers: Mateus Singh, Jacob Patriiuk, Cathy Kang, and Jean Kim).
On the third day, the Korea UBF Director, Nehemiah Kim, introduced the World Mission Conference and Missionary Shepherds' Conference to be held from May 17-20, 2026.
Through the annual report, we prayed in particular for the struggles of Ukrainian missionaries who, even in the midst of war, live by faith, with God as their only hope. We also gave thanks for God's grace in working through missionary Barnabas Kang of North Macedonia, who was healed from a serious illness and was able to resume his missionary work. A lively discussion took place during the workshop on UBF's European mission strategy.

Please pray for the spiritual leadership of Missionary Hanna Shin, the new Europe UBF Coordinator, for the growth and succession of the second generation, and especially for marriages of local leaders and 2nd generation missionaries.
