“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3

We are thankful to God for giving us a series of gracious Bible studies (CME, Ephesians 1-2:22) with Dr. John Jun during November 11-18. God renewed our missionaries and native leaders so that we may renew the gospel faith and missionary spirit and that we may live as good gospel workers, following in the footsteps and spirit of Apostle Paul. We were also able to renew our sense of responsibility for God’s work and a shepherd’s heart for the wandering campus students through Bible study and prayer with Dr. John Jun.

First, missionaries from the USA, John & Maria Peace, studied the Bible and had good fellowship with Dr. John Jun.
Second, all Korean missionaries studied Ephesians three times and had a wonderful time of fellowship with Dr. John Jun.
Third, Kiev UBF native leaders studied the Bible with him as well.
Fourth, all Korean missionaries shared their testimonies based on Ephesians 1: 1-19 on Sunday night after SWS. Overall, four missionaries as well as 13 native shepherds shared graceful testimonies based on Ephesians 1.

All our missionaries and native leaders thanked God for the Bible studies with Dr. John Jun and for our gracious fellowship with him. Also, we thanked God for Missionaries James Point & Rebekah from I. UBF of T country. They came to Kiev from T country in order to resolve their visa problem. They needed new strength and comfort from God. At such a time, God granted them deep Bible study and prayer time with Dr. John Jun.

Currently, Kiev UBF is in the period of transferring leadership from Msn. Peter Kim & Sarah Kim, who have served in Kiev for the past 22 years as the directors of Kiev UBF, to native leaders Shepherds Jacob & Jonathan. I shared this important prayer topic with Dr. John Jun. He also advised me to pray for the successful leadership transfer, as well as serving another successive disciple-raising ministry in Kiev UBF and Ukraine with a sense of responsibility for God’s work.

I thank God that He used Dr. John Jun to lead Bible studies and that He blessed women missionaries- Hannah Salyuk, Josephine Kim, Maria Peace and Sarah Kim to serve CME with Dr. John Jun here in Kiev.

May God use Dr. John Jun and UBF forefathers of faith for deep Bible study and disciple raising ministry among UBF missionaries and native leaders through the CME ministry.
