M. Priscilla Jeong (M. Noah Jeong’s wife) suddenly developed the symptoms
of headache, vomiting and paralysis on left hand and left foot on 11/5 due to
brain hemorrhage (Subarachnoid hemorrhage). They had the first operation on
11/7 for 5 hours to decompress the brain. She has low platelet count and
because of that, it was hard to stop the bleeding. We are praying her platelet
count may be normal. God may bless the hands of surgeons, and she may
get well soon.
Key Verse: Ezek. 37: 3-5
"He asked me,” Son of man, can these bones live?" I said, "Sovereign LORD, you alone know.” Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life…’”
2017 CU UBF YOUNG PEOPLE'S CONFERENCE (MEXICO CITY)
In the midst of Mexico's 2 Earthquakes, UBF CU, Mexico city held a "conferencia juvenil (Young People’s Conference).” There were heavy casualties in Puebla, Mexico City and nearby areas where our missionaries reside. In the midst of such disastrous accidents, we have no news of casualties among our co-workers, their families and their flock of God.
We thank God for raising 6 new disciples of Jesus last Sunday. Our discipleship course began on April 30, 2017 and ended on August 27, 2017. These were almost 4 months of training where discipleship candidates were trained in the following areas: Personal Devotion, Service, A Disciple’s Material Life, and Preaching. The course was led by Bolivian shepherds along with the collaboration of M. Esteban Cho.
By the grace of God, 2 shepherds preached two messages during the evening program. These messages talked about repentance in the middle of affliction time in our people. 3 life testimonies were powerful. Young people have been encouraged and receptive towards the Word of God. The environment was youth oriented. Please keep praying for Venezuela.
