Second Gen. Paul has been selected for a full scholarship student!

Yesterday, I received a call from Loyola University about my youngest child Paul. He has been selected for a full scholarship student of the Loyola University through a grace of God and prayers of missionaries.

Following the earthquake of 14th April in Japan, yesterday(on Sat., April 16) Ecuador had a very serious one. The earthquake affected the Guayaquil region, but the family of missionary Andre, Ana and their children are safe. I spoke with their daughter, Ester Kim and she told me that they weren't affected by it.

There are information that say that Japan and Ecuador may have more earthquakes in the future. We ask for prayers for our brothers and sisters in Japan and Ecuador, for their safety. And please continue praying for our WMR.

“Get up! Pick up your mat and walk” (John 5:8).

Praise the Lord God! He answered the powerful prayers of all our coworkers around the world! M. Daniel and Ana Park served El Salvador mission for 4 years. He had to return to Korea one year and 3 months ago for lung cancer treatment. Last week the lung was found, filled with water. So a surgery was done. But the water could not be taken out. It was because the liquid became dense even solid. So they closed because the operation was very risky. But the doctors decided to do one more time as a last resort on Monday 4/4.

 M. Daniel Park had surgery to remove his lung cancer recently in Samsung hospital, Seoul, South Korea. After surgery, he has developed pleural effusion. The medical team tried to remove the fluid from his lung with the tube, but they failed to do so. He will have secondary surgery to remove the fluid on April 4th(Monday).
