“See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and he rules with a mighty arm. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.” Isaiah 40:10

The distance between the North and the South in Chile is the longest in the world(4,395km). Chile also has the most output in copper; her copper exports are 60% of the worlds exports. Chile was independent from Spain in 1818, and has the present territory by defeating the allied forces of Peru and Bolivia in 1883.

"Jesus is the Christ"

University students have been away from campus for over two months after demonstrations; so we had no one-to-one Bible study and no fishing. Preparing the conference in this difficulty, I thank God for raising two shepherdesses little by little.

“I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.” (John 4:38)

We left Chicago for Argentina CME at 9 am on the 18th of Aug and waited for 7 and a half hours at Panama City airport. Afterwards we arrived at Buenos Aires airport on August 19th. Argentina is a pretty big country (3,769,259 KM2 in size, 40million in population). 90 % of the people are of European descent. They have a lot of natural resources (gas, natural gas, iron, copper, uranium).

Maria Cho and Martin Kim established a beautiful house church on Aug. 20. Maria is the second daughter of M. Isaac & Maria Cho of La Plata UBF, Argentina. Dr. John & Sarah Sunji Jun, Elias Park & Joseph Kim (Brazil), Esteban Cho (Bolivia), Jose & Maria Ahn (Chicago) and Argentina 3 UBF chapter members came to bless the wedding. May God Martin and Maria Kim be used for world campus mission !

A missionary couple arrived in La Plata, Argentina on August 1st. Their prayer topics are:

1. God may give them Jesus' humble heart to serve Argentine students.

2. To be good coworkers to M. Isaac and Mary Cho.

3. They may quickly adjust to Argentine weather, culture, social life and cuisine.

Thank you for all your prayer support. Our second child David and third child Esther passed the tests to be 5th and 2nd graders respectively, though they lacked 6 months to be qualified for that level. Our first child Paul passed onto 9th grade also with good grades. I visited UAM with M. Lydia to pray and met several students.
