We held the Youth Conference on June 2 and 3 in the CU Center of Mexico City UBF. Through this donference, we could help the Bible students who could not participate in the last Easter Conference. The total of 80 people attended. The title of the Conference was "Jesus gives you rest." All the messages were full of grace and all participants wrote and shared sincere testimonies.

Let’s fix our eyes on Jesus

Hebrew 12: 2, “… fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

I. A General Work.

Key Verse Luke 13:18-19,  “Then Jesus asked, ‘What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to? It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds  perched in its branches.’”

Thank God for his grace, that he has been with us during one year in 2016. Thank God for his grace, that he has formed us through various shapes of trainings and refinements, and timely guided us to the word. I pray that we may look back on God's grace and prepare for the new  year, 2017, through annual mission report.

M. Cesar Toledo (Guatemala) who married Maria Lee (C nation) (Now in Hanyang UBF, Korea) received God's first gift, Eunice Toledo Lee 2 days ago* (Earlier than 10 days as her weight already became more than 3.8 kg) through surgery.

Both mother and baby are well. M. Maria is looking for her name. Maybe on Monday night, in Korean time, she will leave hospital and go to a special maternal care center where postpartum women stay for recovery(* probably on May 25, noted by the editor).

To love God with all my heart

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength"(Deuteronomy 6:5)

I want this time to be the time to remember a grace of God given to the chapter of Zapopan last year.

Acts 1:8   “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witness in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

We started the new year  2016  holding  Acts 1:8, that we might have a direction to live a life of raising his disciples as Jesus’ witnesses, receiving the Holy Spirit fully through prayers and meditation on the words.

1. The Summer Bible Conference.

I newly thank and praise God for enabling me to serve His world redemptive work for another year. This past year of 2016 was a year full of  God’s teachings and difficult training for me and my family.

It's been almost 6 months since I arrived in Ecuador. I arrived in Guayaquil on November 19, 2016. I stayed until the end of December in the house of the missionaries André and Ana Kim who treated me very well. My wife, the missionary Yessika, arrived in Quito on the night of December 31. On January 1, we held our first Sunday worship service.
