Key verse: Acts 1:8 – “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Key verse: 2Timothy 4:2 – “Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.”

I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ

Key verse: Romans 1:16 – “I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.”

Reviewing the passed year, I want to glorify God’s name and power through his work among us.

I. The works of Holy Spirit

God blessed P. Abraham Lee and myself to have a meaningful, joyful stay with our precious coworkers in the capital of Serbia.

Serbia is a great nation and takes pride in their orthodox religion.

They are even raising new church buildings these days.

To Live on Every Word that Comes from the Mouth of the Lord

Galatians 5:22, 23a – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”

Thank and praise God who has been with us and blessed us abundantly last year. In 2015 my focus was to bear visible fruit. I was burdened until I lost the joy of life. God revealed this problem through studying the book of Samuel. Most importantly, he also taught me about inner fruit that pleases God. So I chose Galatians 5:22-23a as the key verse for 2016.

Hebrews 12:2 – “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

God granted us progress in God’s Work

Key verse: John 14:13:  “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.“

Key verse: Psalms 121,1-2  “I lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”

I. Review of Greek ministry: The year of birth and growth

Since the beginning of pioneering our ministry, which started in 1991, we faced a big challenge in the year 2015 due to health problems of the first missionary, Lydia Lee. After overcoming these kinds of trial by faith and prayer, God blessed us richly the next year.

The righteous will live by faith

Romans 1:17 “For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.’ ”
