"He says: 'It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Isreal I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.' " (Is. 49:6)
"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!" (Phil. 4:4)
Praise God for his gracious world salvation work! Praise God for sending his missionaries all over the world.
On July13-16, Jongro I UBF held its summer Bible Camp at Kangchon training center in Chuncheon, South Korea. Its special feature was that we had a Genesis Bible conference that we never had it before. In this we have studied book of Genesis from chapter 1 to 50 having 9 lectures and GBS.
The theme of the conference was “God is Good". Through the studying the book of Genesis one thing we deeply learned about God was that "He is Good".
“…and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.” (Col 3:10)
Thanks and praise be to God who blessed our 2017 SBC so abundantly! The six chapters in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), together with Hamilton and London held a joint SBC on July 28-30, at Upper Canada Camp, located about one hour’s driving distance from Toronto, Hamilton and London. Ottawa and Rideau chapters also joined us, and 2 guests from Vancouver and 4 from UIC, Chicago, participated, as well. Altogether, 157 people attended.
Belize UBF had a Summer Bible Conference in August 4-6 at the Mountain View Camp. The theme was “You Give Them Something to Eat”(Mark 6:37a). We learned Jesus’ compassionate shepherd heart and 5 loaves and 2 fish faith. When we offer what we have by faith, the Lord can do great work in feeding many campus students and serving world campus mission.
"The Lord had said to Abram, ‘Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.“I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you;I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing”’” (Genesis 12:1-3)
Let me share with you a historical and landmark event which took place today. Missionary Paulo, Missionary Sarah Neusa and Little Ana left Lisbon at 14:30 hours to Mozambique via South Africa as the first missionary family from Portugal UBF.
“Thank you for your prayers and love for our family. We miss him very much. We thank God for his faithfulness to serve the Lord and people around him. We thank God that he lived *a serving life as a layman and a hidden servant. We thank God that he left a precious legacy to all who know him” (Isaac and Rebekah Kim).
A mission team of 10 youths came and from July 27th began to serve children's Village Bible Study, located about 45 miles away from Belize City, called Camalita, Orangewalk. 65 children gathered. Their mission team delivered a well prepared message about God's creation. They had learned that some children came from family of domestic violence, some even sexually abused, some from traditional witchcraft family.
